Hinny Hard Seltzer Supports The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area with Tickets and Transportation to Binghamton Rumble Ponies Game
Albany, NY, June 27, 2024 - Hinny Hard Seltzer, a craft-made hard seltzer brand based in upstate New York, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with M&T Bank's Wolf Road Branch in Albany to support The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area. Together, they are providing tickets and transportation for club members and supervising adults to attend an upcoming Binghamton Rumble Ponies game. It’s a collaborative initiative rooted in the personal stories of two business leaders — Owner of Hinny Hard Seltzer, Tim Nickels, who spent many days growing up at the Troy Boys Club and M&T Bank Wolf Road Branch Manager, Eric Beaulac, a former professional baseball player whose journey to the big leagues included a memorable stint playing for Binghamton’s minor league franchise.
“As a child, my single mother of six would send us to the Troy Boys Club to keep us off the City streets. In the summer months, she would send us to Camp Barker, a Troy Boys Club summer camp for children," says Tim Nickels, owner of Hinny Hard Seltzer. “I never forgot those summer camps and how important it is to learn about nature, how to swim, and building friendships through teamwork. I believe that this road trip to Binghamton will bring about some friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.”
On July 1st, 2024, 50 children and five adults will have the opportunity to attend the Binghamton Rumble Ponies versus Hartford Yard Goats game, thanks to the generosity of Hinny Hard Seltzer and the support of M&T Bank’s Wolf Road Branch, which is offering financial support to cover the cost of tickets and travel. During their visit to Binghamton, the children from the Boys & Girls Club will also tour Binghamton University and visit the Binghamton Zoo — providing a range of experiences that, when combined with the ball game, will reinforce all that’s possible through hard work and determination.
"This donation signifies our unwavering commitment to supporting the children in our communities and dedication to youth development,” said Eric Beaulac, M&T Bank Wolf Road Branch Manager. “For our team at M&T Bank, it’s all about finding meaningful ways to make a difference in people’s lives. We look forward to the game on July 1st and seeing the looks on the children’s faces when they experience the stadium where I took the mound to pitch during my playing days.”
